2021 Paddlers Awards Winners – Shane Benedict (Paddling Legend Award)

Shane is a true legend in the world of whitewater kayaking. Best known as one of the founding father and designer at Liquid Logic Kayaks, Shane has been involved with almost every aspect of the whitewater world. From first descents across the world to teaching at World Class Academy to shaping revolutionary boat designs or helping guarantee access to the Green River for the next generation, Shane continues to slay and shape the future of the sport. He is also the hilarious dude laughing and yelling when covering and commenting the Green race for the past 10 years for us at Kayak Session. We are extremely proud to celebrate with the whole whitewater community this awards with our friend Shane Benedict. #heyyou
